Jason Green
Jason Green has identified and created opportunities to effectuate positive social change through entrepreneurship throughout his career. Jason’s efforts have focused primarily on creating higher quality educational services for students in under-resourced communities. Most recently, Jason has co-founded SoulGenesis, an online, web community geared toward promoting socially-responsible living to broader and more diverse audiences. He is also co-founder of Greentree Education, a community-based education services provider focused on developing and implementing educational solutions that integrate school, family and community. Jason officially started his career in social entrepreneurship in 1998 as co-founder and Director of Business Development for Youth Builders, LLC, a for-profit youth development and education consulting firm headquartered in Atlanta, GA. Jason spearheaded Youth Builders’ business development efforts and turned it into a profitable education company. He secured several major clients including the Georgia Department of Family and Children Service and the metro-Atlanta YMCA's. Jason is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Morehouse College. He holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania where he was an I.W. Burnham Fellowship recipient. Jason has served as an adjunct professor at Temple University, previously served on the board of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Black Alliance for Educational Options (BAEO) and is currently completing an M.S. in Education at the University of Pennsylvania.
