Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI) Operations and Maintenance Course

November 2, 3, and 10

The three-day course is for landscape professionals seeking to strengthen or develop their service portfolio in operations and maintenance of public and private green stormwater infrastructure projects. The course features two classroom days (November 2 and 3) and one field day (November 10) and will provide landscape contractors with an understanding of the importance of operations and maintenance (O+M) of vegetated stormwater management practices.

The GSI Partners’ Continuing Education Grants are available for members interested in taking this course. Learn more about the Continuing Education Grants here.

The course will cover 20 sections in total, including:

  • Identification and understanding of the components of stormwater management practices (SMP’s)
  • Diagnosis of and response to performance and safety issues
  • Adaptive and prescriptive management activities
  • Regulatory context for O+M

Participants will meet at Temple University Center City (1515 Market Street, Rm. 320, Philadelphia, PA) for classroom days and La Salle University & the Kemble Park Cluster for the field day.
