The 2011 Social Impact Campaign was a 6-month effort (July-December) organized by the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia (SBN) to offer regional businesses easy methods to improve their corporate social responsibility. By joining, your company can earn “points” for participation and compete with other businesses in your field.
Sample Methods to Earn Points:
- Presentation on skills required for entry-level employment in your industry
- Tour of your company’s facility
- Interview and/or hire a candidate
Sample Business Promotion Opportunities:
- Your company name and/or logo included in Social Impact Campaign outreach materials
- Invitation to the Social Impact Campaign Awards and Networking Luncheon in January
-
Nomination to be a 2011 Social Impact Campaign Champion
Our official 2011 social impact partner, the Federation of Neighborhood Centers, is a multi-service agency serving Philadelphians living in highly impoverished neighborhoods. Their training program works with individuals who are developing the skills they need to be competitive for jobs at companies that improve the environment. Your expertise can greatly enhance the experience of the program participants and/or graduates of this program, enabling them to make better career choices in a challenging job market.
In exchange for participating, SBN provides business promotion opportunities to highlight that company’s social responsibility. These opportunities are earned through points accumulated over the course of the campaign.
