By participating as an Ambassador at two SBN events this year or through supporting SBN at tabling opportunities you can strengthen our ability to welcome and retain new members. Meet like-minded individuals, represent SBN and your own organization and become more engaged within the Sustainable Business Network community.

What is a Membership Ambassador?

•  A person designated to greet newcomers to SBN events
•  Membership Ambassador can be either a member or SBN board member
•  Ideally, at least one ambassador should be well connected or part of SBN for at least a year.
•  New members are welcome to become Membership Ambassadors
•  The presence of Membership Ambassadors at networking and large SBN events is essential to helping people feel welcome to join SBN
•   A designated event should have a minimum of 2 Membership Ambassadors
   

Membership Ambassador Commitment

• Commitment is for 1 year – attending at least 2 events
• The SBN Membership Department will reach out to Membership Ambassadors before the event and coordinate with SBN Events Manager
• Arrive at the event 15min before the event starts
• Beginning of event: stay close to the entrance and welcome members and visitors
• After welcoming visitors: merge into the crowed and mingle/introduce people to others
• Coordinate with and address any relevant concerns to SBN Membership Associate

• Represent your own like-minded organization
