Now in its fifth year, PEA’s Solarize Philly program is a rooftop solar discount program, and the largest single solarize initiative in the nation with over 750 solar contracts signed to date. In this latest phase of Solarize Philly, PEA and solar installer partners are offering new financing options to make solar more accessible to all residential and commercial property owners in Philadelphia.

PEA has also launched an initial pilot of the Built to Last program, a low-income housing restoration program designed to layer, coordinate and supplement government, utility, and non-profit home improvement services to restore homes to safe, healthy, affordable and climate-resilient places to live. PEA works with a network of over 20 organizations that deliver direct housing improvement services or “wrap-around” supportive services that make up the Built to Last Coalition. PEA provides the administrative platform to allow these programs to effectively work together.
