Kneehigh Farm is a 100% women-owned and operated vegetable farm located outside of Pottstown, PA. We grow over 100 varieties of Certified Naturally Grown produce for our CSA members, Red Dog Market, Farmers’ Market, and restaurants in the greater Philadelphia area.

Our mission is to cultivate the healthiest, happiest humans. In order to so do, we must tend and care for the land, water, air, and all beings.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Position: We are hiring two full-time employees to join our 100% lady team from early April through late November (30-35 weeks). The position is 30-40 hours/week starting at $12.50/hour (opportunity for pay increase based on experience). Workdays are Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturdays for Farmers’ Market help. Duties include all aspects of small-scale vegetable farming: seeding, greenhouse/propagation work, transplanting, weeding, harvesting, washing & packing, organic pest-control, weed whacking & small machine operation, light tractor work, farmers’ market work & customer service, etc.

Requirements: Previous experience with production-scale vegetable farming required. We are looking to hire those who are personally invested in regenerative agriculture and interested in pursuing farming as a possible career.

Must be physically fit and capable of working efficiently in a variety of weather conditions. Must be able to lift 60+ lbs. Tractor experience and basic tool knowledge a plus, but not required. Ability to work efficiently, at a fast pace in groups or alone. Looking for someone energetic, positive, communicative, driven, hard-working, and self-motivated.
