Best Practice Forum: Legal Resources for Small Businesses During COVID-19
Join SBN for a virtual discussion with Ballard Spahr associates Kimberly Klayman and Shannon Farmer on legal resources for small businesses in the wake of COVID-19. They will address legal issues (in both union and non-union workplaces) such as bargaining obligations, workplace policies, and employee complaints, in addition to the legalities on SBA relief loans. Speaking on the panel will be:
Kimberly W. Klayman counsels publicly traded and privately held companies on mergers, acquisitions and securities offerings, with an emphasis on emerging growth companies and venture capital funds. Kimberly also has experience representing health care companies in transactional matters, including joint ventures and licensing arrangements.
Shannon D. Farmer represents public and private employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters. She conducts collective bargaining negotiations and interest arbitrations, defends employers in all types of civil rights claims, and provides advice and training related to employment policies and other HR needs.
