Join SBN’s GSI Partners on January 22nd at Temple University Center City for our Quarterly Meeting.

Coffee and a light breakfast will be provided.

January’s GSI Partners Quarterly Meeting will feature guest, Robert J Woodman, Senior Stormwater Engineer at ACF Environmental for a presentation and discussion about, “How public-private partnerships can provide new and innovative Green Infrastructure solutions for the stormwater sector.”

Woodman will provide an overview of how the collaboration between urban green infrastructure programs and private companies lead to creative solutions, formed out of a quest to better protect existing and future GI assets.   He will discuss how this best practice, improved the effectiveness and ease of maintenance for removing sediment, trash and debris from entering catch basins.

Also, on the agenda are programmatic updates and structured time for engaging and conversing with your peers.

 

January’s GSI Partners Quarterly Meeting will feature guest, Robert J Woodman, Senior Stormwater Engineer at ACF Environmental for a presentation and discussion about Philadelphia’s and NYC’s urban green infrastructure programs.

Over the next few decades both the City of Philadelphia “Green City-Clean Waters” and NYC DEP Green Infrastructure programs are seeking to manage tens of thousands of acres of impervious area including thousands of miles of streets through the implementation of a variety of low impact development and green infrastructure BMPs. Both cities have been early adopters and emerged as national leaders in this space.

This presentation will highlight the collaboration of Philadelphia’s and NYC’s urban green infrastructure programs. As well as an overview of recent custom devices that have been designed and piloted in each City in the quest to better protect existing and future GI assets that will also improve the effectiveness and ease of maintenance.
