SBN Open House at Remark Glass
Whether you are new to the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia, a long-term member, or someone looking for an open door to learn more about our triple bottom line business community, the SBN Open House is the most engaging way to find out how to maximize your SBN experience and deepen your connections in the local impact economy.
You will learn about the full calendar of SBN programs and events, as well as initiatives, to explore all the ways you can connect and grow throughout your membership. As with all of our events, there will be plenty of time to connect and share stories with like-minded businesses.
Attendees will join learn more about SBN Members who work in the BOK Building.
- Nicole and Jordan Haddad of Lobo Mau, a men’s and women’s sportswear line that blurs the lines of what we think of as casual. Nicole and Jordanare a brother/sister duo residing in Philadelphia, who launched Lobo Mau in 2008. Their Brazilian childhood inspired the name, Lobo Mau, which means “Big Bad Wolf” in Portugese.
- Rebecca Davies of Remark Glass, a majority women owned glassblowing studio, and the City of Philadelphia’s first zero-waste business. Remark was formed to encourage collaboration, with a mission is to reuse and recycle as much as possible. Learn about the practices and policies that make their business possible.
- Firth and Wilson Transport Cycles, a full-service bicycle shop and retail showroom in Philadelphia specializing in transportation and cargo bicycles. With a mission to have less cars and more bikes on Philly streets, Transport Cycles has become a staple in the community, hosting community events, fundraisers, and book signings in their Fishtown warehouse, as well as supporting local community initiatives like the Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia.
