Sustainable landscaper

Grow Our Food LLC is an eco-minded foodscaping company servicing the Greater Philadelphia area. Founded in 2022, our goal is to transform conventional landscapes into edible landscapes, making them more productive. We do this through advising on & building vegetable gardens. We plant fruit trees and berries. We also design, install, and maintain ornamental native landscapes. Almost everything we plant is either edible and/or native. As a young company, we also do general landscaping and mow lawns, though we only use battery-powered tools.

I currently work alone with hired help for most installs. This position has the possibility of becoming a full-time position over time, as I keep building out the client pipeline. I am currently seeking someone to help during the fall season, with potential continuation in spring, as the landscaping industry goes dormant in the winter. The work is quite varied and may include – weeding, planting, mulching, building deer fences, building raised beds, and more.

Seeking someone reliable with prior landscaping experience. Highly experienced applicants are encouraged to apply. Carpentry and design experience a plus. Rates start at $18/hr and are commensurate with experience.
