While the creation of beautiful spaces and place making is at the core of each of our projects, our focus extends beyond providing aesthetic value. As an ecologically based landscape company which gains insight and inspiration from nature, our aim is to create landscapes that are dynamic, functional, and respectful of place.
To serve our growing client base, we’re looking to add passionate individuals who have an interest in working with their hands while expanding their minds. Consequently, we’re encouraging design and horticultural professionals and skilled laborers to join our team as we expand both construction and management projects. Candidates will ideally possess a degree in Horticulture, Landscape Design/Architecture, Ecology or some other related field of study. Just as important, candidates must be willing to perform physical work in a variety of weather conditions and environments. We’re a small company and with that come perks such as increased flexibility and a high potential to grow for individuals who are inherently driven, demonstrate initiative and who are willing and able to wear many hats.
Our work is usually hard, often very interesting, sometimes mundane (hey, we’re just being real!) and always rewarding for a motivated, enthusiastic, energetic and hard-working individual who can thrive working with a team or independently.
Candidates must be in good physical condition, have the ability to lift and carry at least 50lbs. and be able to perform a variety of related duties in all types of weather. Other qualifications include: possessing an understanding of plant communities and an ability to ID native plants, experience operating a skid steer, backhoe, mini-excavator and stake body dump truck, proficiency in landscape vernacular and professional practices. Hardscaping experience is preferred but not required.
Preferred applicants will hold a B.S. in Environmental Science, Sustainable Design, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture or related field of study.
