In addition to his work at the bakery, Nima has had the honor of serving as the longest-standing Board Chair of SBN since its founder, Judy Wicks. His tenure as Chair has been a stabilizing, professionalizing one, having led SBN’s Board through the COVID-19 pandemic and two leadership changes. Nima brings over 15 years of experience in the food industry and management, along with a strong background in organizational leadership, project development, and entrepreneurial mentorship.
Outside of work, he loves swimming, making ceramics, and cooking Persian food. Nima is also a proud uncle, immigrant, and transman—all core parts of who he is and how he shows up in the world. He lives in Northern Liberties with his partner, Gabi.
