These intentionally intimate meetings connect local independent businesses with elected officials and other key decision makers in the city, region, and state to discuss topics relevant to the local independent business community, particularly those that are practicing the triple bottom line.

Business for Impact Workshops
SBN Business for Impact Workshops bring in experts to teach valuable information in their fields to SBN members. These interactive workshops cover a range of topics useful to small business owners, including employment law, human resources, debt, bookkeeping and tax credits.

GSI Partners Quarterly Meeting with Meliora Design & Radnor Township
Join SBN for our next GSI Partners Quarterly Meeting at Friends of Radnor Trail Park in Wayne, PA on Wednesday, July 9 from 5PM – 7PM. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about Radnor Township’s recent stormwater management initiatives and tour Meliora Design’s project site, which won an award at SBN’s 2025 GSI Projects & Innovation Showcase.The meeting will feature a site tour of the West Wayne Preserve Wooded Wetlands Restoration and Habitat Enhancement Project, led by Radnor Township engineers Steve Norcini and Dennis Capella and Meliora Design’s Principal Engineer & Founder Michele Adams. Attendees will also be able to enjoy light refreshments while networking in the park’s picnic area courtesy of Meliora Design.

Urban Forestry Initiative Virtual Meeting
Join the Sustainable Business Network of Greater Philadelphia’s Urban Forestry Initiative for our inaugural virtual membership meeting! We’re excited to bring together our members and interested businesses to learn more about this new initiative. This virtual meeting will include a presentation about tree selection and care practices from the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS)’s urban tree experts. We will also provide attendees with relevant resources for urban forestry practitioners and nonprofit leaders in the industry. Virtual networking will follow the main presentation and Q&A portion of the meeting.
