Peicha Chang is the founder & CEO of Vault + Vine, started in 2009 under its original name of Falls Flowers to fulfill a need in East Falls for a beautiful retail space that could bring the community together. In 2013, the company was the first florist in the world to certify as a B-Corp, further committing to “using business as a force for good”. To continue serving her community, she purchased and renovated their current location at 3507 Midvale, winning the 2018 Storefront Challenge “Extreme Makeover Award” from the Philadelphia Community Design Collaborative & Philadelphia Department of Commerce. The new, larger location allowed the business to provide East Falls with new services, including a greenhouse, café, a curated selection of locally-made gifts, as well as a 2nd-floor community gathering space.
Vault + Vine’s mission is to provide a beautiful gathering space in the heart of East Falls. Retail customers & event clients come knowing that they’re doing their part in supporting sustainability and their local economy. Peicha’s personal mission is to inspire and help others to achieve their full potential in driving our corner of the world towards a more sustainable and equitable future. She is a graduate of Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts and recently from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program. She lives with her family in East Falls, where she’s able to walk to work.
