As an attorney and social justice advocate, Kindra leads SBN’s advocacy efforts to empower triple bottom line businesses and advance a sustainable business agenda at the local and state levels.
Kindra comes to SBN with a wealth of public policy and advocacy experience in corporate accountability and social and environmental sustainability at the grassroots, national, and international levels. She draws her passion for SBN’s mission from years of developing best practice and supporting equitable, green growth in diverse settings—ranging from her work on Capitol Hill and in the corporate boardroom at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), to Oxfam’s Private Sector Department and local nonprofit organizations in Latin America. As a public interest attorney, Kindra has spent the last five years at a social justice nonprofit advocating for community-led development and social and environmental protections within impact investing and international finance.
Kindra received her Juris Doctor at Boston College Law School and holds a graduate degree in International Relations and International Economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies. She attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for her undergraduate studies.
