Marketing & Social Media Manager

 The Green Philly marketing consultant will be responsible for executing the marketing strategy, planning posts and communications, and elevating our events. This ideal candidate should be a self-starter, good at communicating digitally and verbally, and a team player. The ideal consultant is organized, creative and use analytics to plan future content.

JOB DETAILS

Position’s Primary Responsibilities:

Drive engagement and followers on social media 
Create a calendar of monthly & weekly themes for social media content,with a mix of Green Philly content, content curation and sustainability information. 
Drive traffic to Green Philly stories and events 
Promote education around watershed, drinking water and water recreation
Curate content for the weekly newsletter and write marketing content for email blasts. 
Keep track of monthly analytics and occasional reports

Desired Competencies + Skills

Self-motivated, organized, goals and solutions-oriented, positive and proactive with an entrepreneurial mindset.
Experience in marketing, social media and/or communications
An interest in social media trends and digital marketing tactics 
Creative thinker and persuasive communicator 
Team-player  
Experience and/or willingness to use the following tools: Google, Airtable, Slack, Analytics, Social media advertising, Canva and more.
Strong verbal and written, proactive communication. Comfortable in a variety of settings.
