Landscape Architect/Project Manager

Position Summary: As a Landscape Architect & Project Manager in our firm, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, guiding design from concept development through to construction documentation and construction administration. You should be comfortable working independently on design solutions and drawing production, as well as working together with others in the studio. You will lead Landscape Designers at SALT on project work, delegate tasks as needed, ensure projects progress according to schedule, and coordinate directly with consultants and clients. Other responsibilities will include working with SALT’s Principal and Studio Director to develop proposals and assist with business development. As a small firm, we expect employees to feel empowered about their work and to be an ambassador for the studio and our ethos.
Qualifications:
· Licensed Landscape Architect.
· 5-8 years of experience in a professional LA office setting.
· BLA or MLA from an accredited program.
· Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks, prioritize workflow, and meet deadlines.
· Fluency in AutoCAD drafting and documenting designs from concept through Construction Documentation.
· Ability to produce visually compelling digital and hand-drawn graphics.
· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Skilled in public speaking and presenting design ideas to clients and stakeholder groups.
· Collaborative team player who enjoys a small, tight-knit, fast-paced work environment.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Experienced and confident with community engagement.
· Knowledge of native plants of southeastern Pennsylvania is a plus.
