Storefront Manager

Opportunities for Growth in a Supportive Workspace:

We are a small and rapidly growing business! You will have the opportunity to grow alongside us, have your input valued, and be able to help shape Crust’s future. While the workload can be daunting, we try to balance the busy with a supportive & fun environment.

Pay rate, Healthcare, and PTO:

Starting pay is $16 – $17/hr, with a raise at the end of a 90 day probationary period. Tips are split equally among all staff (based on the number of hours worked each week), and average an additional $1 – 3/hr. After a three month probationary period, new employees receive up to 40 hours of Paid Time Off, 40 hours of paid Sick Time, and access to a free telehealth plan provided by Crust.

Schedule:

We are currently hiring for a full time storefront manager who can commit to 40 hours/week, Wednesday – Sunday with a schedule of 9am – 5pm.

Filling in for other shifts as needed will also mean the shifts within this schedule are occasionally subject to change, but the days of the week would not change outside of major holidays (details below).

Like most bakeries, the increased volume of orders we see around major holidays (Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas), means that we have two weeks of “black out days” prior to those holidays. During those times, full availability is mandatory, and schedules will be dictated by management. We are always closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day.

“But do I have to be vegan to work here?”

While we do not require our staff to be vegan, we are a kosher certified bakery, so any food or beverage brought to work must follow kosher guidelines and therefore must be vegan.
